I consider it the biggest adventure of my life to journey with the Lord every day and learn what it means to be for other people.  I grew up in Franklin, PA where my love of the outdoors (trees, mountains, wilderness) began.  I ran/biked many trails in the area while training for cross-country and track.  I earned my undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies and Bible at Northwestern College in Minneapolis, MN.  I then earned my Masters of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  I currently work at Starbucks and live in Louisville, KY with my wife Shannon.  I love cutting wood, the starkness of winter, hiking, working outside, coffee, adventure, reading, Tolkien and MacDonald, beauty, story, poetry, fly fishing, steak and potatoes, conversations, a clear starry night, and much more.
